ReBrand & Strategy
GIC WLV
Green Innovation Corridor is a proposed investment zone for sustainable construction, engineering, and digital industries. The brief was to create a visual identity that feels professional and future‑facing without leaning on clichéd ‘green’ aesthetics.

Overview
Responding to an external brief set by the City of Wolverhampton Council and the University of Wolverhampton. I was responsible for the concept and design of a brand aimed to promote awareness about the project, generate interest from a wide range of stakeholders, encourage engagement and facilitate opportunities for collaboration and partnership. This involved generating ideas, developing and testing concepts, trying new processes in Figma, presenting work for agency critique, and final pitching of concepts to the clients.

Strategy & Concept
I positioned the brand around the idea of a connective corridor—linking disciplines, cities, and stakeholders. The mark uses modular, architectural geometry to suggest routes, roofs, and layered infrastructure. Rather than defaulting to green, I used colour and form to imply sustainability through clarity, balance, and light.
The core palette uses Linen, Deep Navy, Lemon, and Amethyst to create a flexible system that can dial up or down in intensity depending on context. Libra Serif Modern provides characterful, editorial‑leaning headings, while Raleway brings clean, accessible sans‑serif structure to body text and UI. Simple line‑based patterns extend from the logo geometry to tie together print and digital applications.

Final Project
I tested the system on pitch slides, a simple web landing page, signage, and social tiles aimed at investors and local partners. This project strengthened my ability to design brand worlds that feel robust enough for real civic and corporate use, and to communicate sustainability in a way that feels credible rather than purely decorative.
